How to Stay 6 Months in Alanya: The Tourist İkamet Process

If you want to escape the entire European winter (e.g., staying 4 to 6 months), you must transition from a tourist entry to a Short-Term Tourist Residence Permit (Kısa Dönem İkamet İzni).

Key Requirements for 2026:

1. Digital e-Devlet Rental Contract: You can no longer just bring a notarized paper contract. Your landlord (EasyApartAlanya) must register and approve your lease digitally via the Turkish government portal (e-Devlet). This guarantees your stay is 100% legal.

2. Financial Proof: You must show immigration (Göç İdaresi) that you have enough monthly income (pension, remote salary, or savings) to support your stay without working locally.

3. Address Restrictions: Make sure the neighborhood of your apartment is open to new residency applications, as certain high-density expat zones in Alanya face restrictions. (All our winter rental units are selected in fully compliant zones).
